Play a vital role in orchestrating organ donor coordination, be on call for identification and evaluation, manage medical care of donors, engage in meaningful authorization discussions and ensure completion of necessary documentation, offering invaluable support in the OR/recovery suite during organ recovery.
Be a crucial force in the preservation, packaging, labeling, and delivery of organs, blood, and essential materials. Serve as a scrub tech and stand side by side with the surgical team throughout the organ recovery process, ensuring everything aligns with our established policies.
Be at the heart of our mission, facilitating compassionate support and essential services for potential and active organ donors and their families. Engage in thoughtful authorization discussions along with providing invaluable support to families during active cases and offer assistance with post-case outcome calls where needed.
Make critical impacts by fulfilling 24-hour on-call responsibilities that include timely response and evaluation of organ offers, communicate with in-house transplant coordinators and surgeons, management of travel and logistical requirements, and complete associated documentation per policy.
